Hydrogen Production Capacity of 320,000 kg! Ihu establishes Hydrogen Energy Transportation Application scenarios in Xinjiang

Recently, at the NAYU hydrogen refueling station of Yiwu Jiaonai New Materials Co., Ltd., a hydrogen-powered heavy truck was guided by the staff to enter the hydrogen refueling station for hydrogen fueling. The deputy general manager of the company, Li Wenliang, introduced that it only takes 20 minutes to refuel a single vehicle, and each refueling can provide about 40 kilograms of hydrogen, which can support the hydrogen-powered heavy truck to travel 300 to 400 kilometers. Chen Jirun, the driver of the hydrogen-powered heavy truck of Hami Hydrogen Power Guohong Intelligent Internet Technology Co., Ltd., said: "I travel about 200 kilometers from the mining area to the park. I refuel about once or twice a day. This vehicle has no noise and is also more comfortable to drive."
This hydrogen transportation line originated from Yiwu Jiaonai New Materials Co., Ltd., which targeted the abundant industrial by-products of hydrogen energy in the industrial park and invested 35 million yuan to build an integrated hydrogen production, storage and processing project. It produces one ton of hydrogen per day.
Through the enterprise's integrated project of hydrogen production, storage and processing, Yiwu County not only solved the pollution problem caused by the direct emission of coke oven gas, but also transformed the previously wasted resources into clean energy through "industrial by-product hydrogen + purification", achieving the resource utilization of waste. As of now, this hydrogen refueling station has cumulatively filled 320,000 kilograms of hydrogen, serving 15,000 hydrogen-powered trucks, equivalent to saving 3,700 tons of standard coal and reducing 10,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
From short-distance transportation within the park to cross-regional transportation, the hydrogen energy layout in Ihuo County is continuously expanding. As the first city along the G7 Jingxin Expressway entering Xinjiang, this hydrogen refueling station has been connected to the refueling networks of G7 and G335 routes. The enterprise focuses on serving hydrogen-powered transportation vehicles for enterprises within the park and nearby mining companies and other coal chemical enterprises. At the same time, it also provides refueling services for hydrogen-powered trucks being developed in Ihuo.
As the regional hydrogen energy layout progresses, the company will rely on Ihuo County to build a "hydrogen expressway and hydrogen corridor" plan, and link with new hydrogen refueling stations and other projects, gradually opening up regional hydrogen refueling routes, meeting the mid-route refueling needs of hydrogen-powered heavy trucks entering Xinjiang along the G7 Jingxin Expressway, and providing support for long-distance trunk transportation. Li Wenliang said: "The company has clearly stated that it will continue to explore photovoltaic and wind power new energy, electrolysis water to produce green hydrogen, green alcohol and green ammonia technologies, precisely matching the advantages of Ihuo County's photovoltaic and wind power green electricity resources, achieving the conversion from industrial by-product hydrogen to green hydrogen, providing support for the utilization of rich oil coal in the Haimi area's clean energy, and helping to establish a zero-carbon closed-loop layout."
As the forefront of the hydrogen energy industry in Haimi, currently, Ihuo County has built 2 hydrogen production and refueling integrated stations, with over 100 hydrogen-powered trucks in operation and 7 hydrogen buses, and 2 more hydrogen production and refueling stations under construction, forming the largest hydrogen transportation application scenario in Xinjiang. Leveraging the opportunity of the national fuel cell vehicle demonstration urban cluster, Ihuo County is accelerating the introduction of hydrogen equipment manufacturing enterprises, promoting the transition of the hydrogen industry from demonstration applications to large-scale development, and promoting the application of hydrogen technology in more fields.
