High pressure pure hydrogen pipeline test
On June 25th, China's first high-pressure pure hydrogen pipeline test was successfully conducted at the National Pipeline Network Group's pipeline fracture control testing site, providing technical support for China's future large-scale and low-cost long-distance pure hydrogen transportation.
At the pipeline fracture control testing site, staff completed hydrogen charging tests on the 6.3 MPa pipeline and explosion tests on the 9.45 MPa pipeline,and all results met expectations.
This experiment is the first high-pressure online test conducted on non-metallic hydrogen pipelines in China, and also the first high-pressure pure hydrogen explosion test conducted on non-metallic pipelines in China.The National Pipeline Network Group Pipeline Fracture Control Test Site, which is the third pipeline fracture control test site in the world after the UK and Italy, is the basis for this experiment.
