The World's First Offshore Wind Power Hydrogen Production Platform Will Be Installed Soon
The FloatGen floating wind power demonstration project in France was developed by Ideol, installed a 2MW prototype using the damping cell technology it developed and commissioned at the end of 2018, and has been operating for more than 3 years now. It will welcome a "new friend" recenTLY- the SeaLhyfe offshore hydrogen production platform, designed and built by French green hydrogen technology provider Lhyfe, which is now out of dock and undergoing final testing. This demonstration project is to verify the feasibility of a hydrogen production platform powered by floating wind power and to prepare for future commercialization.
